Recent Client Comments

“I am very impressed with your work.… I did not expect you to be so up-to-date in relation to the content (e.g., FDA legislation, new medications). You have picked up on things that the authors and faculty editors have missed!” (lead author of university-level nursing textbooks)

"Dawn, I just opened up the style sheet and it's a work of art.” (in-house production editor)

“I just wanted to let you know that the author is extremely pleased and grateful for the work you've done.… She said you have a real feeling for voice, and she really appreciates your perceptiveness and diplomacy.” (author of children's fiction book; comments shared by in-house editor)

"It has been a pleasure working with you, and I have never met ANYONE who knows as much about grammar as you!" (author of YA trilogy)

"I know [J] passed this along to you, but you did such an exceptional job of editing this chapter. It was very impressive. I am glad you are on board to assist with all of the edits throughout the book." (author of chapter in university-level textbook with 30 contributors)

"Thanks a million, Dawn—you've made a HUGE improvement to this title. I forwarded a couple of your queries to the author, and she said, 'This proofreader is outstanding!'" (in-house editor)

"Just want to thank you again for the work that you are doing on my book. It's simply super great edit work! I've written about 20 books (French and English) including re-editions and this is the best edit work that I have seen." (author of university-level textbooks)

“There have been many [editors] going as far back as far as 1979 with Butterworths ... but ... the relationship I've developed with you has been unrivaled and unequaled. I remember well how I asked for you to be the editor of the second edition (I’d never requested an editor before).” (author of university-level textbooks)
